If you know of a convention that needs to be added to the list or have updated your own convention's policy, you can fill out the form here. If you find any broken links or have any questions about this page, please contact Fractali at admin@cosplayer-ssn.org. This is a perpetual work in progress!

A guide to some of Maryland's laws can be found here.

Note: conventions with * have either not updated for several years, have a malfunctioning website, or may be defunct.

Note: AlienCon's code of conduct states that it applies to all individuals, including staff, but doesn't specify to whom you should go to if your issue is with staff. Currently, the website's link to the code of conduct does not function.

Note: Anime Otapia's harassment policy is found under the "Policies & Conduct" link at the bottom of the page among a number of other links. It is also mentioned, but not linked, in the FAQ.

Note: Although Miryokucon's policy states "all participants are subject to this Code of Conduct," it is not specific enough regarding whether staff or other parties "count" as participants and reporting must be done through staff.

Note: Super MAGfest's policy lists the security email address only in the section describing how to submit proof of restraining order and it is unclear if it is acceptable to use as a way to report during the convention. It also requires a restraining order against someone to be provided to the convention prior to the event "so that [they] may prevent the other person from registering and attending," if someone attempts to report an individual before the convention. While this covers them legally, it does not account for how difficult it is for an individual to obtain a protection/restraining order, particularly if the relationship between the individuals was not intimate.

Note: Miryokucon was downgraded from 6/6 to 5/6 during the 8/15/25 evaluation. We are disheartened to see that remote reporting contact information was removed.
