New York

If you know of a convention that needs to be added to the list or have updated your own convention's policy, you can fill out the form here. If you find any broken links or have any questions about this page, please contact Fractali at admin@cosplayer-ssn.org. This is a perpetual work in progress!

A guide to some of New York's laws can be found here.

Note: conventions with * have either not updated for several years, have a malfunctioning website, or may be defunct.

Note: Albacon's policy does not mention or define unacceptable behavior specifically as "harassment," so it cannot be evaluated as such.

Note: Big Apple Comic Con's mention of harassment is very heavy on cosplayers. Harassment is not limited to cosplayers.

Note: New York Comic Con has an app that you can use to report harassment, which is a good step, but a number or email should also be available for those who can't get the app to work on their phones.

Note: RochesterCon's mention of harassment can only be found by clicking the "Terms & Conditions" "here" link under "Get Your Tickets Today," which is not the most intuitive.

Note: Tora-Con has a brief harassment blurb on their policies page, as well as linking to Rochester Institute of Technology's harassment policy. This may be confusing for attendees who do not go to the school.
