If you know of a convention that needs to be added to the list or have updated your own convention's policy, you can fill out the form here. If you find any broken links or have any questions about this page, please contact Fractali at admin@cosplayer-ssn.org. This is a perpetual work in progress!

A guide to some of Pennsylvania's laws can be found here.

Note: conventions with * have either not updated for several years, have a malfunctioning website, or may be defunct.

Note: COMICON Erie's code of conduct is a PDF.

Note: Fan Expo Philadelphia has an incident report system for multiple conventions, but Philadelphia is currently not available to select.

Note: Furrydelphia's code of conduct is a PDF.

Note: Harrisburg Comic & Pop Con has a Cosplay Rules page which mentions "cosplay is not consent" and "be respectful / This goes for everyone no matter the circumstance." Nice as these are, it does not constitute a policy.

Note: Hazard Con's full policy is a PDF. While the current evaluation pass dings conventions for utilizing a PDF, we will maintain the existing 6/6 because at the end of the day, the full policy is 6/6 and the quick rule list does have a contact and covers the possibility of staff offenses. However, we strongly recommend listing the harassment policy in full on either the Rules page or on its own page, as not everyone has access to a PDF reader on their phone.

Note: MEPACon's policy lists a separate email contact for opting out of email updates or picture/video use, but it does not explain whether this same contact would be valid for reporting harassment.

Note: PAX Unplugged's policy is located under the Health & Safety tab, which may or may not be intuitive for some to find with the context of COVID-19 policies at the time of evaluation.

Note: PulpFest's mention of harassment is simply to the effect of "anyone who harasses will be asked to leave." This does count as a consequence, but does not constitute an entire policy. PulpFest also lists multiple email contacts on the page, which one might assume would be a way to report harassment, but it is not specific enough. Additionally, we would encourage PulpFest organizers to understand that some individuals' existence is political and that efforts to "keep politics to themselves" might discourage someone from a marginalized group to attend, especially because this implies that "everyone is welcome." We would recommend that organizers of this convention look up the "Nazi Bar Problem."

Note: SaikouCon's code of conduct stated twice that complaints of harassment may be just an "innocent misunderstanding" and people may act with "no malice intended," which makes it sound as if they are biased to believe such complaints are no big deal.

Note: Setsucon's policy is simply "if it's illegal, don't do it."

Note: Steel City Con's mention of harassment is limited to "... will not be tolderated." This is not a policy.

Note: Thy Geekdom Con's policy says if you are harassing someone, you "may" be asked to leave. No other information on consequences.
